Our progress
The college carries out educational activities in the specialty 07160500 - "Operation, repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock", after which graduates are awarded qualifications (3W07160501 - "Assistant locomotive driver", 3W07160502 - "Mechanic-inspector of cars ") on the basis of a license. License No. KZ 52LAA00013912 dated January 31, 2019, Issued by the Department for Control in the Sphere of Education of the Zhambyl Region of the Committee for Control in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the above specialty.
Specialty 07160500 - "Operation, repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock":
- performs work on the maintenance and management of the diesel locomotive;
- performs work on the maintenance and management of the electric locomotive;
- carries out work on the repair, inspection, acceptance and delivery of wagons.
The purpose of the educational program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists with various competencies required for the railway industry. Priority areas of the educational process of the college:
- training of specialists capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market demand in continuous development in terms of qualifications;
- improving the quality of education of college consumers;
- increasing the prestige of professions;

In order to introduce modular training technology, specialists are trained according to the experimental educational program "Operation, repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock". The program was developed on the basis of the educational program of JSC "Holding" Kasіpkor "taking into account modern international requirements in accordance with state obligatory standards of technical and vocational education, international requirements for medium-skilled specialists and a skilled workforce.

This approach to learning allows each student, whom the very organization of the learning process creates, to form a sense of success, including a student who teaches how to manage their knowledge and improve their knowledge, and later their professional growth and career growth. Thus, as a consumer, the consumer will be satisfied with knowledge that can improve him throughout his life, respond to changes in the labor market.
The college trains specialists in specialties that are in demand today. Today, the railway industry is an important component of the industrial infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the educational program in the specialty 1108000 - "Operation, repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock" is to provide qualified personnel with a specialty and training in accordance with the development of the regional economy. Thus, the educational program (EP) in the specialty 1108000 - "Operation, repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock", taking into account the interests of all parties, can use the following basic and professional competencies:
- The principle of operation, the nature and tasks of power plants and spare parts and automatic control devices;
- Modern types of electrical machines (generators), principles of operation, device and tasks;
- Operation, repair and maintenance of traction automatic brakes, device and tasks;
- Application in the device and maintenance of the rolling stock and its components, the use of the most convenient and safe mode of operation, prevention, regulation and maintenance of stops in the work of the rolling stock;
- carrying out preparatory work before performing repair work;
- comparison and analysis of the technical and economic characteristics of wagons and containers; - instructions for the production of shunting work and the movement of trains, instructions for communication and signaling, rules for the technical operation of railways, determining methods for their repair; - operation, repair and maintenance of traction automatic brakes, device and tasks;
- the principle of constructing structural diagrams for the power supply of locomotives with various power supply systems, with a structure, tasks for repair, maintenance, maintenance of automatic control devices and auxiliary equipment, power plants;
- principle of operation, purpose, arrangement and repair of systems for regulating protection of equipment, alarms and electrical devices;
- various systems of power supply and supply.
