Preparation of students in the specialty 07140700 - "Automation, telemechanics and traffic control in railway transport" and qualification 3W07140702 "Electrician for the maintenance and repair of signaling, centralization, blocking devices." has been going on since 1930. The validity of the training of specialists in the educational program is associated with the needs of the region and the republic in technical workers capable of performing professional duties with qualifications.
The implementation of the educational program "Automation, telemechanics and traffic control in railway transport" is determined by the mission of the college: Training of competitive specialists with a high level of theoretical and practical skills, with high personal qualities for railway transport enterprises, taking into account the demand for industrial and innovative development.
The purpose of the quality policy is to develop, implement, effectively use and develop a management system aimed at continuous improvement to meet the needs of all stakeholders, realize the mission of the college and achieve strategic goals. The competence of interested parties in the formation and maintenance of the quality policy of educational programs is revealed.
During the training of specialists, teachers of the specialty strive to ensure a balance between the demands of the labor market, the needs of a developing personality and the development of the vocational education system as a whole. It is high professional training that has become a factor in the social protection of our graduates in the new economic conditions. The task of college teachers is not only the formation of knowledge, skills and abilities, but also the development of the ability to adapt to changes in technology, technology, and labor organization. Priority attention to quality problems is due to the following main factors:
- the need to correlate the main goals of the development of a vocational school with the state educational policy (state educational standard, licensing, attestation, state accreditation of vocational education institutions);
- the problem of comparability of certificates and diplomas of vocational education, their recognition throughout the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the gradual entry into the global labor market;
- the need to involve social partners in determining the content and level of professional education in order to objectively assess the quality of graduates of educational institutions.
In this regard, the college is currently mastering new mechanisms that ensure the quality of educational services from the standpoint of the requirements of professional activity; a system for training a competitive specialist capable of self-development and self-realization, owning a set of competencies that meet the requirements of the modern labor market. In this context, the quality management of vocational education in a college ensures the implementation of the following functions:
- quality assurance; -creation of the necessary conditions for the provision of high-quality educational services (employability, mobility, variability and accessibility of educational services);
- quality control ;
- assessment of the learning process and its results by all interested parties (includes the availability of indicators / criteria for the effectiveness of the process and results, a system for assessing and certifying the level of learning, self-assessment conducted by training structures);
- continuous improvement of educational activities by teachers on the basis of personal responsibility for each aspect of the educational program in each structural unit;
- forecasting the ideal state, comparing it with realities and planning the development of the college, taking into account the available resources, while adjusting aspects of the internal quality assurance of the educational program based on the deepest analysis and self-assessment of its activities according to the criteria.
